Questioned whether TIF for another luxury hotel serves the public, citing gentrification, rising taxes and the growth Ponzi scheme, and argued the money would be better spent on Bozeman Creek flood mitigation.

Urged the board to deny the $372,000 TIF request, saying the hotel isn't in a blighted area, would be built regardless, and that the city shouldn't subsidize the developer's profits.

The developer explained the sewer upsizing was driven by the city to future-proof the aging line, benefits the whole block, and that he isn't keeping any of the grant money personally.
